THE WAY TO HEAVEN?

John [MKJV] 10:9 [Jesus explained] I am the door. If anyone enters in by Me, he shall be saved and shall go in and out and find pasture.

Romans [MKJV] 5:11 [Of ourselves we do not deserve or earn eternal redemption!] But God commends His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. 10 For if when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 11 And not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the reconciliation.

  Ken Ham, president of Answers In Genesis (answersingenesis.org), in being interviewed by a secular reporter was asked “Do you believe Muslims are going to hell?”

  An interesting question to be sure but actually no different than the larger inquiry: Who goes to heaven . . . Americans, Anglicans, Baptists, Catholics, Lutherans, Presbyterians, Methodists, Mormons, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Buddhists, Pentecostals, Seventh Day Adventists, Evangelicals, or just maybe Republicans?

  Jesus, speaking as the only begotten Son of God (Jn.3:16), made the answer quite plain: “… there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. He came to Jesus by night and said to Him, Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God; for no man can do these miracles which you do unless God is with him. Jesus answered and said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a man is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus said to Him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb and be born? Jesus answered, Truly, truly, I say to you, Unless a man is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, You must be born again. The Spirit breathes where He desires, and you hear His voice, but you do not know from where He comes, and where He goes; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit. Nicodemus answered and said to Him, How can these things be? (MKJV Jn.3:1-9)

  Trusting Lord Jesus Christ we gain the gift of everlasting life immediately. Doing nothing we remain eternally condemned. “… even as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, so that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but so that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes on Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.” (MKJV Jn.3:14-18)

  Lord Jesus Christ alone is resurrection and life now and forever; the only way to the Father. “Jesus said to her [Martha], I am the Resurrection and the Life! He who believes in Me, though he die, yet he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” (Jn.11:25-26) . . . “Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, so that where I am, you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know. Thomas said to Him, Lord, we do not know where You go, and how can we know the way? Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but by Me. (Jn.14:1-6)

  With absolute clarity Jesus explained that there is no other way to eternal life than He, so the answer is: No one goes to heaven or hell because of the church or denomination they belong to or are involved in. Eternal placement singularly has to do with faith relationship with Lord Jesus Christ or the lack thereof.  EBB4

PS. Oddly today, Evangelicals, major group crossing Christian denominational lines, is made up of those professing trust in Jesus for salvation. However, nearly 60% surveyed indicate they believe there is more than one way to heaven; A trust Jesus but deny Jesus game that gives a whole additional meaning to the question “Who goes to heaven?”
