RESPONSES

Three readers
sent responses to the Sunday’s question “What is the most authentic comfort in
my life?” . . . a personal inquiry that reveals the center of our life.
SF “Too often I
go for chocolate. It tastes good but it is only a temporary fix”
DK “God’s presence
in my life is my most authentic comfort.’
CK “Thinking on this
one. What is yours???”
EBB4 The 1563 Heidelberg
Catechism expresses it wonderfully: “That I am not my own, but belong with body
and soul, both in life and in death, to my faithful Savior Jesus Christ. … Without
the will of my heavenly Father not a hair can fall from my head.”
I’m sure
many of you privately answered the question and learned of your life.
