Even if you are not into computers, you may know that G.I.G.O. stands for “garbage-in-garbage-out”. This is true of human minds as well as computers. If we fill our minds with the garbage available on TV, magazines, newspapers, and books and so on, then that is what we will be interested in. Is it any wonder we have such a high rate of crime, violence, immorality, drug abuse, premarital sex and unwed mothers?

  We, as adults, need to closely monitor what we and our children and young people are watching and reading.

  I pray that God will help me keep the garbage out!
