STILL HIDING?

Genesis [MKJV]
3:1-10 Now the serpent was more cunning
than any beast of the field which Jehovah God had made. And he said to the
woman, Is it so that God has said, You shall not eat of every tree of the
garden? And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees
of the garden. But of the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the
garden, God has said, You shall not eat of it, neither shall you touch it, lest
you die. And the serpent said to the woman, You shall not surely die, for God
knows that in the day you eat of it, then your eyes shall be opened, and you
shall be as God, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was
good for food, and that it was pleasing to the eyes, and a tree to be desired
to make wise, she took of its fruit, and ate. She also gave to her husband with
her, and he ate. And the eyes of both of them were opened. And they knew that
they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made girdles for
themselves. And they heard the voice of Jehovah God walking in the garden in
the cool of the day. And Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of
Jehovah God in the middle of the trees of the garden. And Jehovah God called to
Adam and said to him, Where are you? And he said, I heard Your voice in the
garden, and I was afraid, because I am naked, and I hid myself.
Do we like Adam
and Eve still hide from God?
Indeed we do. Not
in physical terrain, but in controlling areas of our life our way; deciding
what we think is right or wrong, we practice spiritual inaccessibility.
