REVERSE ENGINEERING
Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed? [Also note 2Cor.6:14]
Being exposed to engineers, their mindset and methods, was an educational part of my employment. Reverse engineering, though not on my treasured original list of hermeneutic educational principles, was later added as a means of studying God’s Word and its healthy application.
In the previous DT I wrote of the distinction between forgiveness and reconciliation. Forgiveness preceding hoped for reconciliation. Forgiveness not spontaneously assuredly producing reconciliation. Reconciliation separately afterward requiring Amos 3:3 agreed upon exercise.
Today I emphasize
the primary practice of Amos 3:3, doing so very much reducing instances necessitating
forgiveness.
