Matthew [MKJV]  5:10-12; 17-20 [Jesus
said] Blessed are they who have been persecuted for
righteousness sake! For theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when
men shall revile
you and persecute you, and shall say all kinds of evil against you
falsely, for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for your reward in Heaven
is great. For so
they persecuted the prophets who were before you. … These things I command you,
that you love one another. If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me
before it hated
you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. But because you are
not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world
hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, The servant is not greater than
his master. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they
have kept My saying, they will also keep yours.
2Timothy 3:12 [Paul explaining to
young Timothy.]  Yea, and all
who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus

will be
persecuted.
Homophobia and Islamophobia have been in our vocabulary
for some time now, and practiced by some even longer than being familiar words
in politic and media. They do not however hold the record for historical
longevity. This award goes to God’s people that stood and continue to honor,
serve, and walk in His Way.
One need not hold a doctorate in history to know
persecution is the world kingdom’s covert and/or overt standard bestowment upon
His saints.  Jesus explained “My kingdom
is not of this world ….” (Jn.18:36) The Apostle Paul wrote much to explain this
truth and that we as God’s people are not to think in synch with this temporal
corrupt in thought and practice world. (Rom.12:1-3; 1Cor.1:20; 2:6;
7:31)
Reading Paul’s letter to the Christians in Ephesus
doesn’t require a course in theology to understand that Satan is the physically
unseen head of governments. (Eph.2:2; 6:12) Even hiding in my enjoyable pleasant
garden I cannot escape the truth or impact of this world-fact!
Bluntly stated: This world has not, does not, will not
ever love those that stand with and for Jehovah God Almighty, His Son, His Holy
Spirit! Persecution is not something new to the USA. That it is on the increase
and obvious in “lawful prosecution” should be no surprise; the prince’s kingdom
has been in conflict with God’s kingdom for a very long time.
As our USA history continues to develop Christophobia is
increasingly difficult to deny.
