WHO TO BLAME?

Genesis [GW] 3:1-13 The snake was more clever than all the wild
animals the LORD God had made. He asked the woman, "Did God really say,
'You must never eat the fruit of any tree in the garden'?" The woman
answered the snake, "We're allowed to eat the fruit from any tree in the
garden except the tree in the middle of the garden. God said, 'You must never
eat it or touch it. If you do, you will die!'" "You certainly won't
die!" the snake told the woman. "God knows that when you eat it your
eyes will be opened. You'll be like God, knowing good and evil." The woman
saw that the tree had fruit that was good to eat, nice to look at, and
desirable for making someone wise. So she took some of the fruit and ate it.
She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Then their
eyes were opened, and they both realized that they were naked. They sewed fig
leaves together and made clothes for themselves. In the cool of the evening,
the man and his wife heard the LORD God walking around in the garden. So they
hid from the LORD God among the trees in the garden. The LORD God called to the
man and asked him, "Where are you?" He answered, "I heard you in
the garden. I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid." God asked,
"Who told you that you were naked? Did you eat fruit from the tree I
commanded you not to eat from?" The man answered, "That woman, the
one you gave me, gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it." Then the
LORD God asked the woman, "What have you done?" "The snake
deceived me, and I ate," the woman answered.
Revelation
chapter 20 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the
bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon,
that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand
years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal
upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years
should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. And I
saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I
saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the
word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither
had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived
and reigned with Christ a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not
again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed
and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second
death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall
reign with him a thousand years. And when the thousand years are expired, Satan
shall be loosed out of his prison, …
Who to blame?
Inarguably Satan
is the evil master of friendly persuasion. (Gen.3; Eph.2:1-3)
There are
Christians and non-Christians that blame Satan for the things they do wrong. Eve’s
being the first vain foolish attempt at shifting personal responsibility. (Have
you ever wondered what God would have done if Adam and Eve had taken
responsibility? Jn.1;1; 1Jn.1:9; Heb.6:18; 13:8)
Who will those of
such ilk blame during the millennium?
