WHAT TO DO?
Hebrews [MKJV] 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Are we in the
divided divisive atmosphere that preceded our first and second civil wars? I wonder,
but not being credentialed in such evaluation . . . I don’t know.
What I do know is
what Lord Jesus Christ, God Almighty, would have me to do is responsibly do two
things: Love Him. Love others.
It was a tumultuous
time and place when Jesus taught this is necessarily applicable regardless of
circumstance, surroundings, or outcome
… a lawyer, asked him a question to test him. “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?”
And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all
your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as
yourself.” (ESV Mt.22:35-39)
