AUTHENTIC LOVE PRODUCES REPENTANCE
I’ve seen more
than one man manifest genuine love for a woman, they lovingly reversing course
in thought and action.
Authentic love
produces repentance!
Jesus explained
that those that truly love Him will think and act contrary to egocentric worldly
philosophies and deeds: “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” (ESV
Jn.14:15)
Christlikeness
involves loving Him and others, but not without change of mind and acts.
Paul explained
this born-again (Jn.3:3; 2Cor.5:17) dynamic manifestation in other words: “I
appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your
bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your
spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed
by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will
of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” (Rom.12:1-2)
