24:15 And if it is evil in your eyes to
serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your
fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in
whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD."
Job 42:1-2 Then
Job answered the LORD and said: "I know that you can do all things, and
that no purpose of yours can be thwarted.
Psalm 1:1-6 Blessed
is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of
sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the
LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by
streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not
wither. In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like
chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the
judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; for the LORD knows
the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

2Peter 3:8-9 But
do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a
thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to
fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not
wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

Lord God
Almighty, the Sovereign Master has a master plan. His master plan has not, will
not be altered by anything we or Satan as individual or group do. This includes
action or non-action, rebellion or disregard. Our blessed compliance is a
matter of choice; a theme throughout Scripture. Queen Esther is an example of
opportunity to serve or not. (Est.4:14) Have you not neglected or rejected opportunity
and later discovered the blessing you didn’t give or receive? Or even sadly discovered
your missed opportunity was a “coulda, woulda, shoulda” event? I have.
