ACCEPTING EVIL AS DELIVERANCE FROM EVIL? Part 2

ACCEPTING EVIL AS DELIVERANCE FROM EVIL?: Part 2

Isaiah 55:8-9 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Romans 12:2  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Continuing on the question from a pastor: Edwin Bennett Bullock Do you have any thoughts about accepting evil as deliverance from evil?

My earliest mentors taught me that discipleship should always be Biblical; searching God’s Word for His answers to questions, issues and life’s puzzles. This I strive to do and teach, 2Timothy 2:2 being another blessed responsibility impressed upon me.

As often should be the compliant effort, we begin at the beginning. Genesis 2:2 being the first mention of evil: H7451; From H7489; bad or (as noun) evil (naturally or morally). This includes the second (feminine) form; as adjective or noun: - adversity, affliction, bad, calamity, + displease (-ure), distress, evil ([-favouredness], man, thing), + exceedingly, X great, grief (-vous), harm, heavy, hurt (-ful), ill (favoured), + mark, mischief, (-vous), misery, naught (-ty), noisome, + not please, sad (-ly), sore, sorrow, trouble, vex, wicked (-ly, -ness, one), worse (-st) wretchedness, wrong. [Including feminine ra’ah; as adjective or noun.] Total KJV occurrences: 664

And for comparison sake, good: H2896; From H2895; good (as an adjective) in the widest sense; used likewise as a noun, both in the masculine and the feminine, the singular and the plural (good, a good or good thing, a good man or woman; the good, goods or good things, good men or women), also as an adverb (well): - beautiful, best, better, bountiful, cheerful, at ease, X fair (word), (be in) favour, fine, glad, good (deed, -lier, liest, -ly, -ness, -s), graciously, joyful, kindly, kindness, liketh (best), loving, merry, X most, pleasant, + pleaseth, pleasure, precious, prosperity, ready, sweet, wealth, welfare, (be) well ([-favoured]). Total KJV occurrences: 554

I close Part 1 with the question “How does the Scriptural meanings for good and evil compare with your thinking past and/or present?”
