GETTING CLOSER TO GOD? Part Two.

  Christians can get no closer to God than when they’re born-again when they believe Jesus’ life-changing redemption. (Jn.3:3) (Nor can they get any farther from condemnation! John 3:18)

  How close is the truth described in 1Corinthians 15:22 and Colossians 1:27? Christ in us, we in Him!

  Romans 6:5 explains that we are “united with Christ” in His death and resurrection. How can any feeling make us closer than this?

  1Corinthians 6:17 tells us that it is impossible to get any closer, for we in fact are “one spirit with Him”.

  I urge you my dear fellow saints, please leave off wasteful efforts to draw closer to God. Instead, please live in our closeness with Him.
