WISDOM AND PEACE
1Kings 5:12 And the LORD gave Solomon wisdom, as he
promised him: and there was peace between Hiram and Solomon; and they two made
a league together.
Isn’t strange
that we human beings can acquire knowledge, we can study and earn degrees and
diplomas and still not gain wisdom.
In 2Timothy
[2:15-16], Paul tells us “Study . . . and rightly divide” the words of truth.
This world may never know peace until Jesus comes, but the wisdom we gain by
following Paul’s advice will give us an inward peace that separates us from the
world.
