James 1:17 Every
good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father
of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
While watching
some old house videos I noticed that when I was talking to my grandchildren I
repeatedly would give them an order, then end by saying “O.K.?” as though they
had a choice?! It is no wonder that young people grow up confused! Isn’t it
wonderful that our Heavenly Father is always the same? If we read and follow
His instructions we will not have to wonder what they mean. They are explicit:
Thou shalt – Thou
shalt not – Do good – Love one another – Go ye – Teach – Be ye kind.
And even when we
waver and fail Him, He “remains faithful and just to forgive our sins.”(1Jn.1:8-10)
