TRANSFORMATION VERSUS REGENERATION

Matthew [CEV] 22:34-40 After Jesus had made the
Sadducees look foolish, the Pharisees heard about it and got together. One
of them was an expert in the Jewish Law. So he tried to test Jesus by
asking, "Teacher, what is the most important commandment in the
Law?" Jesus answered: Love the Lord your God with all your heart,
soul, and mind. This is the first and most important commandment. The
second most important commandment is like this one. And it is, "Love
others as much as you love yourself." All the Law of Moses and the
Books of the Prophets are based on these two commandments.
As the Apostle John
recorded those many years ago, Jesus explained "I tell you for certain
that you must be born from above before you can see God's kingdom!" (Jn.3:3)
Dr. Carl McIntire taught that religious
transformation sans regeneration through and by Lord Jesus Christ is nothing
more than a new suit of clothes on the same old man. This absolute truth inseparable
from the fact that love cannot be legislated by God or man.
In spite of these
irrefutable truths, the maddening crowds and responding governments in our
so-called (and Muslim designated) Christian nation continue to desperately do
otherwise; forever attempting to solve man’s problems with man’s ways apart
from God and His Word.
Society’s
recurring problem deemed a “civil rights” issue is actually the lack of authentically
applied Biblical 1Corinthians 13:4-7; Love
is kind and patient, never jealous, boastful, proud, or rude. Love isn't
selfish or quick tempered. It doesn't keep a record of wrongs that others
do. Love rejoices in the truth, but not in evil. Love is always
supportive, loyal, hopeful, and trusting.
Beware marching for justice apart from the
Just One. (Acts 10:34)
