DECISION MAKING AND THE WILL OF GOD: It’s Not a Dance
Square dancing
was my limit when young. Now not even that is considered. I do, however, enjoy
observing dancers, all styles. One of fun-to-watch was the boogaloo, a lively
made-up mix of moves. When children and grandchildren did so I’d say “You’re
doing a boogaloo”. After reading this morning’s Omaha World-Herald report I’ve
decided to no longer use the term that way.
Boogaloo currently
is a descriptive for an olio of anti-government people promoting civil war as
the solution for our nation. Oddly, Hawaiian Aloha shirts are one of their
symbols.
Applying the
Biblical 10 point measure that I published yesterday, it is an easy obvious
decision for adjusted vocabulary read and spoken.
Other than now
understanding the distinction between dance and political boogaloo and deciding
accordingly, what actually complex decisions are we facing today, next week,
next month, next year …
As in our historical civil wars, some choices may
directly involve boogaloo insurrectionists.
