WITHOUT EXCUSE

 WITHOUT EXCUSE

Romans [ESV] 6:1-4 What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it? Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

Dear fellow travelers,

As God’s John 1:12; 3:3 born-again children we are to live personally without-excuse lives as Romans 12:1-3 worshippers pleasing God. Lives that increasing distance from childish popular excuses for immature actions. We are to mature beyond being identified with blaming others, centering our identity in traumatic experience(s), past or present environment and/or circumstance et al.

I confess that at 86+ it is not an everyday easy endeavor, but none-the-less my responsibility alone as I see God’s direction in His Word.

We are dead to sin, alive to God!

In His peace,

Edwin Bennett Bullock 4th
