LIKE OUR FATHER?

I’ve been
thinking more about Jesus saying that we are to be perfect, even as our Father in
heaven is perfect. (Mt.5:48) “Father”, especially in light of the times I’ve
emotionally sung “O’ to be like Him”.

) Then recently son Ben and I enjoyed an old Christian movie provided by a Christian purveyor.
In the story the
main character, a Pacific USMC combat vet, is presented as learning much from “Meeting
God half-way.” keeping his end of the bargain. Once again a case of a Christian
movie altering God’s Truth. Our Heavenly Father does not meet us halfway.
Searching His Word makes this plain.
