PERFECTING SELF AS A MARKSMAN FOR OTHERS

  Matthew 5:48 [Jesus said] Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

  John 1:11-12 He [the John 1:1 Word, Jesus] came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

  2Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

  [Paul exhorted] … be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. [2Timothy chapter 2]

  Working at being a 2Timothy 2:2 believer is hollow without self examination accompanied by personal application when studying and passing on what I have learned /am learning. A great help in this is constantly reminding myself that ‘I’ am now and forever part of ‘we’; if not we then narrowly it is I. L
