MANITOU SPRINGS IS NOT HEAVEN

  As of 4pm yesterday I, along with several family members, returned from a gifted trip to Manitou Springs, Colorado, population 5 or 6,000 as even the local dwellers can’t agree. Our enjoyed stay was at the 1874 Cliff House Hotel within sight just below Pike’s Peak. Along with the many wonderous sights of God’s creation, I saw more pet dogs in those few days than in 35 years of living in Omaha, Nebraska, population 400, 000+. That experience left me wondering if you had to own 1 dog to live there, 2 or more dogs to vote. (I asked around getting varied reactions.)

  Due to altitude sickness mine, I remembered the Word’s promise that there’ll be no illness in heaven. The happening reminded me that I’ve been asked about heaven, but forgot to answer in depth from God’s Word. For all those wondering, utilizing Nave’s Topical Bible today I’m doing so.
