Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:
and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the
air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing
that creepeth upon the earth.
John chapter 1 In
the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God. All things were
made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. … And the
Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as
of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth [Jn.17:17].
A professed
Bible-believing Christian publically states that Jesus refuted ideas found in
the Old Testament. Considering that Jesus was God Incarnate, what do you make
of a statement declaring the Lord contradicts Himself? Then there’s the fact
that the Bible is the book of God’s precepts, not a volume of His ideas for us.
