HIS WISDOM OURS?

HIS WISDOM OURS?

Proverbs ESV] 3:1-7 My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments,
for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you. Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck; write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good success in the sight of God and man. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil.
Matthew 13:53-56 And when Jesus had finished these parables, he went away from there, and coming to his hometown he taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished, and said, "Where did this man get this wisdom and these mighty works? Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary? And are not his brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas? And are not all his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all these things?"

Being Christ-like is not limited to emulating His actions. It includes speaking wisdom as did He. Is this possible? Yes. How so?
·         We have the Word that includes God Incarnate, Jesus, words.
·         We have Holy Spirit to guide us. (Jn.16:13a)
·         We have “the mind of Christ”. (1Cor.2:1-16)
·         God provides equipping unto our solidly serving Him and mankind. (Eph.4:11-14)
God enables us if we don’t draw back in shameful shyness. Shyness a matter of fear of embarrassment; it based in sinful prideful supposed self preservation and/or personal defensiveness. This the choice that is ever before us in the instances of life; to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by providing His answers to spiritually related questions in a way  showing as applicable to daily living. (Rom.1:16; 2Cor.5:17-20; 2Tim.1:8; 4:1-4; also note Jam.4:6, 10; 1Pet.5:5, 6)
Indeed His wisdom is freely available to us. It is our responsibility to gain it, apply it to own lives first of all, then beyond such action to verbalize the Truth.
Let us hold fast to the trustworthy Word, able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those unbelievers and believers that live embracing worldly wisdom. (Tit.1:9)
